What we do
The distribution board is where most serious electrical faults start: a loose connection, an overloaded circuit, a breaker that has been running hot for months. We build and install new boards, relocate and upgrade existing ones, and scan them with a thermal camera so problems show up as a photograph, not as a burnt-out board.

Frequently asked questions
What is a thermal scan of a DB?
We photograph the live distribution board with an infrared camera. Loose or overloaded connections run hot and show up clearly, long before they fail or start a fire. You get a report with the images and what needs fixing.
How often should a commercial DB be scanned?
Once a year is a sensible baseline for busy commercial and industrial boards, and many insurers now ask for it.
Can you relocate a DB without shutting the whole site down?
Usually, yes. We plan the changeover so the shutdown is short and scheduled, typically outside trading hours.
Do you build custom boards?
Yes. We design the board around the site's actual load, including MCCBs, metering and sub-mains, and install and certify it.
